About Us

The ToneUp programme was developed by Physiotherapist’s Scott Hill and Christopher Satara after years of witnessing their patients failing with traditional and fad diets. They have incorporated years of experience in tailoring general and elite eating plans into an everyday easy to use system that uses real food, education and science to achieve the goals of permanent weight loss, improved health and self management.

Why It Works

Simply put, ToneUp uses real food (what the body was designed to digest) in the right amounts to maintain your muscle mass and metabolism whilst burning bodyfat. We focus on optimising health and metabolism, with the natural by‐product being fat loss! So when you do reach your goal weight, you have a healthy, functioning and fast metabolism that then enables you to maintain your desired weight; not balloon back up in weight because you have destroyed your health and metabolism through poor eating(as many of the fad diets do!)

It also works because YOU get to choose the healthy foods you like and place them in the diet as instructed. Hence no more ‘having’ to choke down food you don't like or shakes that don’t fill you up and so you are more likely to stick to the healthy eating plan (note we don't like the word diet as this denotes it is a short term plan, we are looking for lifelong habits!)

With our program we also ensure you get all your essential nutrients so your body does not crave anything. It also means you will retain all your muscle tissue and hence keep your fat burning machine revving, and finally, with our program, weight loss plateaus are a thing of the past due to some intelligent planning, so as you see the numbers steadily tick down, you will not be discouraged by stalling at any stage.

The main difference is we have a system that shows you how to use REAL food that YOU like in a way that promotes optimal health, energy and fat loss. So NO pills, meal replacement shakes, rigid diet plans or lack of variety. You will learn what society has forgotten, how to eat REAL food!

Another difference is we tailor the program to YOU. No one size fits all generic program. We use some of the latest scientific body analysis to determine your needs then put them in our easy to use planner and away you go!

Also, WE COME TO YOU!!! No need to go to weight loss centres etc, with our mobile testing, online consulting and interactive website, we can get you all the way to your goal from the comfort of your own home!

A Sydney Physiotherapist who has been consulting on weight loss and performance for over 10 years. Whilst competing at the highest level in Natural Body Building and Power Lifting and also preparing athletes for all forms of elite sport has become a driving force in the field of weight control and exercise.

Christopher Satara, B.app.Sc (PTY), MHSc O.M.T, M.A.P.A., Physiotherapist- Managing Director

Managing Director of Physiotherapy and Accredited Occupational Rehabilitation firms, Christopher consults to some of Australia’s largest National firms. He continues to treat individuals from normal to elite athletes and during his 13 years of practice he has witnessed the growing need to address the obesity epidemic. He is passionate about developing real programmes with real food.
